Submit your abstract to [BC]2

The [BC]2 Scientific Committee is now inviting abstract submissions on biological and bioinformatics research and applications, as well as development of methods and software.
Abstracts can be submitted for one of the six main conference topics and in one of the following three categories: oral presentation, poster + poster pitch and poster only. The main conference topics are:
- Artificial intelligence, machine learning and computer vision
- Cancer biology and precision medicine
- Evolutionary dynamics and ecology
- Pathogens, immune systems and host-pathogen interactions
- Population genomics in huma...

Submit your tutorial and workshop proposals

[BC]2 will feature a one-day workshops and tutorials session on 13 September. The call for proposals is now open.
The purpose of workshops is to provide participants with an informal setting to discuss technical issues, exchange research ideas, and share practical experiences on focused or emerging topics in bioinformatics. A workshop should provide an interesting perspective on the cutting edge of a research field and can be complementary to the main conference topics. [BC]2 is the highlight of the year for winners of the SIB Bioinformatics Awards, who will be announced and present their work during a plenary session. Don’t miss the deadline to submit your work.
To promote excellence, diversity and innovation in the field of bioinformatics, SIB created the SIB Bioinformatics Awards in 2008 to acknowledge early career bioinformaticians and ground-breaking resources of national and international standing.
The Awards honour bioinformatics excellence in three categories and is currently seeking submissions:
