[BC]2 - Basel Computational Biology Conference

The Basel Computational Biology Conference [BC]² brings together like minded individuals and companies interested in the field of computational biology. The main goal of the conference is to provide a platform for informal communication and fruitful discussion between speakers and participants. The Basel Computational Biology Conference [BC]² is the annual meeting of the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics.

The seventh edition in 2009 is titled "Molecular Evolution", celebrating Charles Darwin's 200th birthday and the 150th anniversary of the publication of "On the Origin of Species".

We aim for a constructive and open atmosphere and encourage speakers and participants to discuss new ideas, visions and unpublished results. Therefore, the use of cameras, audio, video, camera phones, or any other recording devices is prohibited at the [BC]2 meeting. Also, [BC]2 will not publish slides or transcripts of the presentations unless explicitly authorized by the presenters. If you are interested in a specific presentation, please contact the speakers directly.
